Little
Fearless
Behind the Scene Stills

'Little Fearless' is a project that I look back on fondly. Not because it's some sort of a high art piece or contemporary masterpiece, but simply because the learning process was fun. Simply put, for the concept alone that was originally dropped by with my math teacher Alex Koo, it was a perfect project for me to start as a director because I simply loved the bizarre concept and trying out experimental ideas. And the fact that I had a wonderful crew on top, this was a dream come true project of mine.

Choreographing Fight Scenes & Stunt Doubling
A lot of POV (Point of View) perspective fight scenes had to be made to give an illusion of the Cockroach fighting against 6 a 6-foot-tall psychopathic killer. So, believe it or not, it took a good three days for us to film the fight scenes and practices. In addition, while we may not be a young Jackie Chan, we ensure to pull off some of the more demanding stunts, like a couch rolling sequences, which I have to step in for the stunt doubling for Junki, and what an experience (I was so dizzy after like fifth take of rolling to the couch). Just a side note: the camera that was used for the Roach's POV shot was a Sony FDR X-3000!

Preparation for the finale and blood
It was the use of red dye and cream cheese that came to the creation of the blood. I won't lie to you, it smelled pretty bad, but it was a good looking blood though!

Main Crew Line Up (Left to Right):
Kevin Sohn (Director, Choreographer), Junki Kim (Actor, Editing Assistant)
Vignesh Aravindh (Co-Cinematographer, Wire Stunt Rigger).
A wonderful group of crew, and I thank Junki for my first short film debut for his lovely acting.
Vignesh was a man who contributed some of the wonderful panning shots
and additional wire rigging stunt ideas for the final fight scenes as well. Thanks a bunch, Viggy!
