Behind the Scene Stills

My job for this film was a cinematographer, which to me was one of the first major big collaborations with a bigger crew than how I normally would film my work, so this was a wonderful experience overall where I got to learn a lot as a team, with good crews to support each other. I was very happy to work for Stephen for this project and he did such an amazing job to pull this film off in a wonderful fashion.

Green Screen Room Filming. Stephen put a lot of effort into the special effects for the inner mind talking sequences. Meanwhile, there's me, just following the director's orders. Man, I had a long hair back then!

Hallway scene. Let's admire our lead actor, Nick Bertrando's good looks on the first picture.

The filming of study room sequence. There's Tighe on the fourth picture, giving us a smile all day.

Here's a classroom scene. I gotta say, that was one tiny classroom if I recall the location. But still the smaller the room, the bigger pressure of fun occured. We laughed a lot if I remember filming this classroom scene. Also there's our one and only boom operator, Kevin Walker, who is extremely tall. I envyed that height, he was a cool guy.

A Bathroom scene. This was the first day of shooting, so I'm not even going with the chronological order, but we were pretty much on a high spirit for filming this work from the start!

Some of my favorite shots that I got to contribute. My cinematography skills may not be the highest perfection, but still, I'm very happy with how the film turned out to be, and I'm happy that my shot worked for Stephen for a certain degree. It's especially a blessing with the good usage of darker tone colors of green, blue, and purple, all blended well together, making my shots look very balanced thanks to the tonality of the film!

This was overall one of my favorite productions I've involved with, and looking back at working on this production, it was one of the happiest time. I got to learn and work with some of the passionate people. To Stephen, Nick, Sam, Eddie, Tighe and Tall Kevin, if you are reading this, I miss working with you all. I hope you are doing well, and thank you for giving a wonderful opportunity and memory.
